Telling us your story couldn’t be easier. At First Story Media, we have made it as simple as possible for you to outline what you want to say and how we can help.
We pride ourselves at responding quickly so follow these easy steps and we’ll be in touch.
Step 1
A very short description of your story is all you need. Go to the ‘Tell us your story’ form and outline what you want to say. You can use bullet points and attach pictures if they help to describe your story. Make sure you leave a contact number and an email address so we can be in touch with you quickly.
Step 2
Thanks to our network of contacts stretching across the media industry, after a consultation with you, we can help you decide where best to place your story. We can arrange the best deal for you and even hold an auction for your story if it is needed and what you want.
On many occasions, there is an opportunity to secure multiple deals with newspapers, magazines and television to maximise your coverage and your story’s value.
But at First Story Media, we aim to make the process as stress-free as possible, will make sure you feel in control throughout and not feel pressurised into anything.
Step 3
Once we have an offer you are happy with from a news organisation, your story will be written and can be read back to you upon your request. This will make sure you are completely happy with the end product.
Step 4
We will transfer your fee direct to your bank account. After publication of your story, there is often scope to place it in another newspaper or magazine. Appearances on TV, future book deals and documentaries featuring your story are all future options, which our team at First Story Media can discuss with you.
